Regal Environmental completed an installation of a combined air conditioning and heat recovery ventilation system for Kong, the World’s top pet toy manufacturer.

Staff at their distribution centre offices at High Post, near Salisbury, only had a basic extract air system for ventilation.

Clive Tee, the centre manager, contacted Regal to provide an improved indoor air quality with temperature control.

A Daikin Ducted Air Conditioning system along with a VAM Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit was designed then installed, bringing in fresh air that is passed over a heat exchanger to recover heat from the extracted stale air before being temperature controlled via the ducted AC unit. The conditioned air is then distributed to the offices via ceiling and wall grilles providing 10 litres of fresh air per person per second..

The staff are now enjoying a greatly improved working environment that remains comfortable and fresh all day long.
