Regal Environmental Systems were asked to review initial design and costings for the building services and air conditioning to an office block refurbishment and laboratory.
Regal was specified by the consultant in competition for the works and succeded in being awarded the mechanical services contract (value £85,000), for the supply and installation of Mitsubishi VRV air conditioning systems along with fresh air plant, controls interface and Buildings Management System (BMS) integration. |

The program of works covered only six weeks and Regal's engineers and specialist contractors completed the project on time, incorporating variations by the architects during the installation.
Regal Environmental Systems specialises in the control and management of projects such as this and was congratulated on its performance under difficult conditions.

Regal secured the maintenance contract for a Global Media Village. The equipment Regal maintains are large Mobile Air Containers providing in excess of 500kW total cooling, specifically designed for worldwide transportation to countries including Australia and Brazil.
Regal provides winter storage and maintenance for the mobile air conditioning units (each the size of a family car), during which time the main work is completed and repairs made in readiness for the next season. |

Regal also provides international field maintenance support as the Village and its air conditioning units travel the world, with specialist engineers who understand the client's demanding requirements.
Also with the Global Village cooling systems, Regal also maintains cooling systems for fibre-optic teleports and mobile hospitality suites housing the latest in plasma screen technology.

Regal were responsible for the fast track design, supply and installation of air conditioning systems to a new media TV studio.
Regal selected three Daikin twin split 20kW cooling only systems with a combined cooling capacity 140% of the room requirement to provide 90% cover in the unlikely event of a system failure. |

From concept to completion, the project took less than 2 weeks, just in time for the first TV broadcasts.

The partners of an equine veterinary practice worked with Regal in the specific design requirements for their new animal hospital.
The system included heating, ventilation and air conditioning for the operating theatres, prep room, dog and cat wards, equine theatre and admin offices. |
|
Combined with the systems the client took the opportunity to install intelligent controls which continuously monitor the indoor and outdoor conditions. The controls help optimise start up times ensuring each area of the building is up to operating temperature, on time, every time.

Regal were approached by the client to find a solution to their cooling and heating problems within an occupied 7 storey office block. The existing Versatemp systems originated from the 1960s when the building was constructed. |

Regal proposed floor by floor Daikin 3 pipe 'VRV plus' air conditioning systems as a direct modern replacement for the Versatemp systems.
Regal secured the clientís instructions for a £150,000 contract for the new air conditioning systems to be installed.

Regal Environmental Systems were successful in securing the specialist maintenance contract for the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of VRV air conditioning systems providing comfort cooling to offices. The contract also included Reactive Maintenance and 24 hour emergency call-out facility. |

The equipment maintained includes Daikin 3-pipe heat recovery VRV systems and Toshiba Super Multi systems plus Daikin and Toshiba split air conditioners.
Regal's average response time to call outs is 4 hours, or sooner in critical circumstances such as server rooms, comms rooms or the boss' office!
